CODE OF CONDUCT

 

Little Saplings Montessori Inspired Preschool recognizes that to make children feel valued and to enhance the learning and development of those who attend our setting, a positive and effective partnership with parents/employees is essential and will be encouraged at all times. Children usually feel more confident and positive about themselves and their learning when parents, employees and practitioners work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect.

The purpose of this code of conduct is to provide a reminder to all parents, employees and visitors about expected conduct so that we can work together to ensure a safe and positive environment for our children and staff.

We expect all parents, employees and visitors to the preschool to:

• Support the respectful ethos of our preschool by setting a good example in your own speech and behavior towards all members of staff.

• Share information with staff on your child's development, health and wellbeing

• Direct any concerns you may have through the appropriate channels by speaking to the Director, Kimberlie Faybik.

• Drop off/Pick up your child on time - if you are going to be unavoidably late then please contact the preschool to let us know.

• Ensure you can safely transport your child to and from the preschool using age-appropriate car seat restraints

• Park with consideration and respect for others when dropping off and picking up your child from the preschool.

 

In order to support a peaceful and safe preschool environment, we will not tolerate:

• Disruptive behavior

• The use of loud and/or offensive language or displaying temper

• Threatening harm or the use of physical aggression towards another adult or child

• Abusive, threatening, malicious or inflammatory emails, phone or social network messages

• Smoking or consuming alcohol or drugs, while accessing the Preschool premises

• No meeting at the preschool may be electronically recorded without the express permission of all parties.
